Doris Clark

Doris Clark is a retired school teacher with 32 years of experience with Rutherford County Schools, Isothermal Community College, and Vance-Granville Community College.

Doris has a BA in Home Economics & Science, and has Masters Degrees in Vocational Administration from NC State University and Science Education from Western Carolina University.

Doris has always believed in volunteerism. She has served on many civic and community groups from beautification to Hospice Patient volunteer. She has also served on various boards including Tryon Painters and Sculptors, Art League of Henderson County and Southern Regional Environmental Education Board. She served on The Rutherford Hospital Foundation Board and then served on the restructuring of that board into the RHI Legacy Foundation.

Doris also served on the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills Board and sees it as an honor to continue serving as that board transforms into Carolina Foothills Foundation. She believes this foundation will have the unique opportunity to serve the citizens of Rutherford and Polk Counties and provide in areas that have not been fully met.
