Eldercare Home Care Agency

The Carolina Foothills Foundation's Eldercare Home Care Agency program provides extra support for seriously-ill patients age 65 and older to enhance their ability to remain in their own homes.

These services include:
  • Homemaker services such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.

  • Home health aide services such as bathing and assistance with activities of daily living that are more intensive or provided more frequently than is typical for hospice or palliative care patients.

  • Transportation assistance to in-county doctor's appointments or meal assistance.

We support non-profits that provide in-need fund for seriously-ill patients such as:
  • Medication funds

  • Providing equipment for palliative care/hospice patients

  • Funerals/cremations

  • Phones for patients who have no means of communication

  • Extermination for insect-infested homes

  • Air conditioners

  • Heating assistance

  • Medication dispenser

  • Food pantry

  • Durable medical equipment loan closet

  • This program assists elders “aging in place” in their homes and offers a certified aging in place assessment.

  • It also addresses accessibility, home safety, home monitoring, universal design suggestions, and provides handicap-accessible renovations such as grab bars and ramps.
